 Thrasio – Boston, MA                                                                                                                                                                                     2021 – Present

Director Product Management - Data & Analytics

  • Work with engineering teams to migrate the Shark Retail application and related data to the Thrasio tech stack

  • Created UI prototypes and data visualization using tools like Miro, PhotoShop, and PowerBI

  • Launched the Thrasio “Timeline” application used to tracked key changes impacting product sales on the Amazon platform

  • Establish software product roadmap based on business priorities in collaboration with stakeholders in many different teams including Brand Management, SEO, Affiliates, Data Science, Engineering, etc.

Founder & Product Management

  • Launched initial version of product within 3 months time and sold software licenses to the largest 3rd party seller on Amazon

  • Worked with software engineers to create initial product based on UI mockups and input from customers

  • Conducted sales meetings and demos with prospects customers and obtained 20+ clients within first 6 months of operations

  • Obtained offers to buy the company/product from 3 different organizations before selling company to Thrasio after initial successful BETA test with the Brand Management team

Director of Product Management

  • Responsible for product vision and strategy for creating the Flywheel I ♥ ASINs (FILA) SaaS tool used to grow sales for brands and manufacturers on Amazon

  • Leadership role in the product development, data and analytics strategy for the core FILA product leading to a successful acquisition by Ascential, Inc.

  • Hands on creation of UX prototypes of the initial FILA user interface and continued enhancements based on customer and internal feedback using PhotoShop, InVision, Tableau, High-Charts, and HTML

  • Proprietary technology and analytics tools resulted in the “Flywheel Effect” where nearly all Flywheel customers, including P&G, Hershey, Bayer, etc. saw significant increases in Amazon sales compared to competing solutions

Director of Product Management and eCommerce Analytics

  • Responsible for product vision, strategy, and positioning in building a VC backed SaaS/DaaS software company from 10 to 150 employees

  • Leadership role in the product development, data, and analytics strategy for the core Clavis (eCommerce) InSight product leading to a successful acquisition by Ascential, Inc.

  • Lead product strategist for the creation and development of Clavis OneView for Amazon, a market leading SaaS analytics tool designed to leverage many different types of data to increase sales and margins on all Amazon platforms around the world

  • Hands on creation of UX prototypes of the OneView for Amazon user interface and refinement based on customer and internal feedback using Tableau, High-Charts, and HTML

  • Setup and managed partnerships with technology companies located around the world for assisting in SaaS product development and data acquisition via web scraping, web monitoring and related APIs

  • Drove client success while helping to increase eCommerce revenue for some of the largest companies in the world, including Unilever, P&G, General Mills, and Barilla during pre- and post-sales

Product Manager/Technical Consultant – Legal/Records/Content and eCommerce Solutions

  • Supported numerous customers on implementations of large scale enterprise software implementations of the following software: IDOL search platform, TeamSite Content Management, WorkSite (legal) Document Management, Conflicts Manager, Autonomy Records Manager, and Meridio Document/Records Management. 

  • Product manager for Autonomy Records Management and (Legal) Conflicts software

  • Perform internal training for sales, professional services and customers on many software platforms

  • Obtained security clearance and conducted requirement gatherings and software trainings for US and UK government agencies and customers in India, Spain, UK, Sweden and US
     

Tech Target – Newton, MA                                                                                                                                                                                2008 – 2011

Senior Program Manager – Product Development

  • Responsible for developing international websites and consolidating all existing US-based Tech Target websites on a single Content Management platform to allow for consistent products to be managed and sold across 60 websites. 

  • Quickly promoted to Senior Program Manager in charge of defining requirements, partnering with internal and external development teams to deliver new releases, and developing relationships with partners to enhance services and provide new sales channels.

  • Spearheaded 40% increase in user registrations on Tech Target websites and 5% increase in third-party lead generation.

  • Successfully lead a global team, including 30 offshore resources, to implement a new CMS to support 75 content editors and 60 Tech Target websites.  Project was company’s first product development initiative utilizing a global delivery model.
     

Nadastra, Inc. – Westborough, MA                                                                                                                                                                2006 – 2008

Program Manager – Technology Consulting

  • Founding member of Nadastra, a startup global services company with offices in the US, Sri Lanka, and India focused on business strategy and operations transformation. Summary of consulting projects:

  • Worked closely with C-Level executives to provide strategic IT Operations and other services.  Lead a team of 16 geographically dispersed resources to provide services for client.

  • Implemented online learning and assessment tool used to train 5,000 employees at over 50 remote locations on key aspects of Medicare Part D reimbursements policies.  Program substantially decreased the number of claim denials and is now required quarterly training for all employees involved in the Medicare reimbursement process.
     

Iron Mountain – Boston, MA                                                                                                                                                                           2004 – 2006

Product Manager – Internet and E-Commerce 

  • Product Manager for application integration with Iron Mountain Records Management applications and 3rd party Document/Records Management applications

  • Product Manager for a new product used to manage records management retention schedules.  Worked with customers and SMEs to create and launch the product within 1 year. 

  • Support product positioning, functional requirements documentation, launch planning, pricing, defining product value proposition, sales training, and customer demonstrations.
     

The Gillette Company (Acquired by P&G) – Boston, MA                                                                                                                           1997 – 2004

Project Manager – Knowledge Management and Web Deployment Department

  • Managed time critical initiative to select and deploy a search and content categorization tool (Autonomy IDOL) for Gillette’s corporate Intranet. 

  • Managed CEO-sponsored Supplier Diversity Initiative to create a web-based application designed to help Minority and Woman owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) to become Gillette suppliers.  Program substantially increased Gillette’s MWBE relationships and resulted in Gillette being named "Corporation of the Year" by the New England Minority Supplier Council.

  • Launched theessentials.com, the first direct-to-consumer eCommerce website from CPG company

  • Relaunched the RMV website (www.massrmv.com), the first state government website in the USA to offer online transactions/ecommerce
